I *should* be able to keep these prices for 2021.
The dimensions are overall. 4x17 means, 4’ tall and 17’ long from wing tip to cod end. Obviously 8x30 is 8’ tall and 30’ from wing tip to cod end.
Note: ALL nets have a top rope.
4x17 8’ wings- with rope on bottom $550
4x17 8’ wings- with bottom chain ¼” galvanized $650
8x30 18’ wings- with rope on bottom $1000
8x30 18’ wings- with bottom chain ¼ galvanized $1100
WITH FLOATS (same net dimensions)-
4x17 with bottom chain $690.
4x17 with rope on bottom $590.
8x30 with bottom chain $1200.
8x30 with rope on bottom $1100.
Sorry the store doesn’t give away floats and chain and neither can I. You get it at my cost.
Dip Nets- $120
Shipping to Canada in 2021- I have sent some 4x17 nets without floats and chains to Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. The average shipping cost has been $60-65. They have taken about 1.5 weeks to be delivered.
**Note about sales tax: Some net builders I’m sure, are not charging sales tax as they are supposed to be and do not have resale/retail certificates as they should. If they get caught, they are in a world of hurt with Maine Revenue Service & the IRS. They are still charging the same or higher prices than I am. I have chosen to include the sales tax amount in the prices you see instead of tacking it on additionally. (A $1200 net would cost you $66 more. You’re REALLY paying $1,134 for that net and the rest is tax. Somebody doing it under the table pockets it.) I run a legitimate business and I have to do things legally. So that money you’re paying isn’t all going in my pocket. After material expenses and sales tax the profit really isn’t that great, usually less than 50%. This is the reality of doing things legitimately and not jacking up prices.
